Fort Carson, Peterson AFB, NORAD, and downtown are all within easy driving distance. Colorado Springs offers the benefits of a city (ie; culture, shopping, good schools, hiking, etc.) but with a small town feel. You can drive from one end of town to the other in 18 miles.
